Home

Toronto is now officially my home til further notice. Vicki and I found an apartment in Deer Park area, we move in March 1st, for the moment we are staying in a short-term apartment in Yorkville. I am now on the full-time job hunt, all fingers crossed I land something in the next month, the job market isnt great right now, so wish me luck!!!

On the music front, there are some good shows coming up in Toronto> Phife Dawg & Chip Fu, Jose James, Van Hunt, Black Milk & Young Jeezy.

Will aim to blog more and post my T.Dot adventures. Stay tuned....

Highlights from NY

I just spent a month in NY from the 19th Dec til the 18th Jan with my girl Vicki. I had the time of my life, as usual. We rented an apartment in Bed-Stuy for the month, our old hood where we usually stay. See some photos below of highlights from the trip.

I made the move to Toronto on Saturday 10th December, loving it. Currently in NY for the next month, having way too much fun to have time to blog, stay tuned to my twitter for updates, see you in the new year!

In the midst of packing up my life for this move, I'm coming across a lot of great memories, one including my DJ days, finding my first set list from 2007. I started DJing in 2007 at Seven Nightclub in Melbourne, I had a Saturday night residency there for 3 years as well playing at various spots around Melbourne. As the crossover to Serato was coming into check along with life circumstances, I made the decision to stop playing. Do I regret it? Kinda, but I've always kept music and hip hop close to my heart. Here is a copy of my first set list, and damn, yes I have good taste in music, haha. toot toot!

My buddy Marvin Priest (yes he's Maxi's son, pic taken with Rohan Marley) was also in town on the weekend performing at the opening of a new complex. Shoutouts to Elyssium Lounge for providing us with killer tunes to rock to Friday night.

RIP Heavy D

I was at my desk at work when I heard Heavy D had passed away. I shed a few tears. Not only for the loss of his life at 44 but I think also at the realisation that a whole era of hip hop is dying before us.
